“Patience is bitter, but it’s fruit is sweet.”
– Aristotle
A few nights ago I was on my evening hike and it didn’t appear that there was going to be much of a sunset, however, my patience was rewarded. Very often people give up too quickly. Sometimes the most beautiful and inspiring gifts happen after, what we think of as, the “main event”. Gratefully, both photography and writing have helped me develop the quality of patience. There is no rushing nature. She unfolds as she sees fit and it’s a gift to be able to slow down and take it all in. It’s a bonus when this bleeds over into daily life.
Have a fantastic day! 💜
