Aloe Photo by Tracey McKibbin — National Geographic Your Shot

I’ve been pushing myself to photograph ordinary things to see what kind of interest I can bring to a frame. This is an Aloe plant in my backyard & I’ve taken a ton of frames of it but I finally liked 1. What I liked was the colors I was able to capture by this particular angle. My neighbors yellow house, my gray wooden fence, the fading light in the blue sky & of course the vibrant salmon color of the flowering aloe. I’d love feedback.
